Founded from a love of living water.
Neró Aquatic Design was founded by Nicholas Damoulakis from a genuine love of aquariums and the quiet beauty of keeping a living piece of nature within your own space.
What began as an interest in the hobby quickly became something much deeper. There was something captivating about carefully shaping an underwater landscape, tending to its plants and animals, and watching all of the individual elements slowly develop into a functioning ecosystem of their own.
Aquariums combine artistry with precision. Every stone, plant, current, light and living inhabitant has a role to play. Creating something beautiful requires patience, attention to detail and an understanding that the environment is constantly alive and changing.
For Nicholas, much of the fascination comes from that balance — crafting an environment by hand, then watching nature take over. Plants grow, fish explore, shrimp graze, water moves through the landscape, and an entire ecosystem begins to find its rhythm. There is a particular serenity in simply sitting back and watching that world exist.
Neró was created to share that experience with others — designing aquatic environments that are not simply objects within a room, but living pieces of nature that bring beauty, movement and calm into the spaces around them.
